Care Team Prayer List

• Hold the family and friends of Laurie Cowles in prayer. Laurie died on August 5, 2025 and her memorial service was held at NUMC on August 22nd. Laurie’s obituary can be found here.

Coming this Fall: Fun, Faith, and Food for K-5th Grade

Beginning this fall, Wednesday nights at NUMC will take on a new rhythm for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade —Fun, Faith, and Food!

We’re embracing an intergenerational approach to ministry that brings people of all ages together through structured and free play, creative activities, storytelling, and shared snacks and meals.

Our elementary-aged children remain at the heart of this after-school ministry, supported by two engaging curricula—GenOn Ministries and A Joyful Path.

We're looking for three caring adults to partner with our staff--offering support and love to the next generation while deepening their own faith along the way.

Pastor Donna will serve as the interim point person as we continue discerning the best path forward for this initiative.
