August Worship Series: Faith & Film
This August, join us for Faith & Film as we explore how stories on the screen can deepen our understanding of God's story. Each week we'll pair a popular film with Scripture, discovering themes of courage, identity, belonging, hope, and God's presence in our lives.
To get the most out of the series, we encourage you to watch the movies ahead of time—or revisit an old favorite!

Then, on August 30, we'll celebrate Faith on a Stick! As Minnesota gathers for the Great Minnesota Get-Together, we'll explore the biblical connection between food, celebration, and gratitude. From harvest festivals to shared meals, Scripture reminds us that God delights in bringing people together.
Job Openings
Northfield United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time Children’s Ministries Director/Coordinator (10–15 hours/week) to help nurture the faith and community life of children in an inclusive, intergenerational congregation.
Pub Theology is in partnership with the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Northfield.
Habitat for Humanity
Northfield UMC has agreed to join in a 2026 community project with Habitat for Humanity Rice County for the building of a duplex townhome on the corner of College and Sumner in Northfield. We'll need construction volunteers by mid August. Stay tuned for more information.

SUMMER SPLASH

Join us on the south lawn for a joyful and refreshing end-of-summer splash event hosted by our church community!

Northfield UMC Youth Group (current grades 6-12)
NUMC Youth Group includes time for fun and recreation, community building games and activities, a mini-lesson to help our young people connect to God in everyday moments, and time for supporting and celebrating each other through our highs and lows.
Summer Youth Group
Youth Group will continue to meet approximately 2 times per month for outings, games, and special events. To sign-up for the Youth Group text reminder group, please text Kristen at (507) 676-3600. To be added to the youth email list, please email youth@northfieldumc.org.
NUMC Youth Group is for all youth in 6-12 grades. We meet Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8pm plus special outings and events. New youth are always welcome and encouraged to attend! For more information email youth@northfieldumc.org or text Kristen at 507-676-3600.
