Dear Families,
We’ve got some great events coming up for kids, parents, grandparents, and friends of all ages at Northfield UMC! These gatherings are a chance to connect, grow in faith, and have fun together:
Sunday, August 10 from 5:00–7:00 p.m. – Movie Night
Come for pizza, popcorn, and a family-friendly movie. Rising 6th graders will also have a chance to meet our Youth Director, Kristen Twitchell.
Saturday, August 23 from 1:00–4:00 p.m. – Back-to-School Summer Splash
Let’s wrap up the summer with water fun for all ages—slip 'n slide, water balloons, a bounce house, and more!

- Hold the family of Lou Witman in prayer. Lou passed away on April 18th. A joint memorial service was held for Hank and Lou Witman on July 26 at 1pm. Hank and Lou's obituary can be found here.
- Hold the family of Russell Gillispie in prayer. Russell passed away on June 21st. Russell’s obituary can be found here.

Coming this Fall: Fun, Faith, and Food for All!
Beginning this fall, Wednesday nights at NUMC will take on a new rhythm—Fun, Faith, and Food for All! We’re embracing an intergenerational approach to ministry that brings people of all ages together through structured and free play, creative activities, storytelling, and shared snacks and meals.
Our elementary-aged children remain at the heart of this after-school ministry, supported by two engaging curricula—GenOn Ministries and A Joyful Path.
As part of this transition, Gregory Ennis will be stepping away from his current role. We are deeply grateful for the time he has shared with us and for the care he has shown our children.
Pastor Donna will serve as the interim point person as we continue to discern the best path forward for this initiative.
We invite your insight, prayers, and participation as we move into this next season. If you’re interested in volunteering or learning more, we’d love to hear from you!
