Climate Action This Week Dr. Katherine Hayhoe, a prominent Christian writer and climate scientist, urges a handful of key actions individuals can take which make a difference for climate change: (1) Talk with others about how climate change is impacting your own schools, farms, businesses and communities, (2) Join a climate action group like the bi-partisan Citizens' Climate Lobby, (3.) Place your money with banks who don't invest in fossil fuels, (4.) Use your voice with elected officials; 99% are not federal, but they tend to underestimate concern for climate because they don't hear from constituents enough, and (5.) Make changes in your personal life: get a heat pump for your home, buy an electric car or find alternatives to driving, fly less, and eat less beef/meat.
