Adult Faith Formation

AI class instructors will be Chuck Follen and Griff Wigley.
Charles (Chuck) Follen is a technology leader with more than 30 years of experience working with Global 2000 companies on digital transformation and artificial intelligence initiatives. Currently with Amazon Web Services, and previously with Microsoft and Accenture, Chuck is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and holds a master's-level diploma in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Oxford.
Griff Wigley is a technology early adopter, having made a living online since 1986. He launched the short-lived Northfield AI User Group in 2023, and is currently the editor of Northfield.org, where he uses AI and occasionally writes about it.

Hope for Creation
Wednesdays, October 21–November 11 | 6:00 p.m.
Join the Creation Care Team for four Wednesday evening gatherings to explore how our congregation can deepen its commitment to caring for creation. Using the Hope for Creation curriculum, we'll reflect, share ideas, and identify opportunities for action in our church and community. All are welcome, whether you've participated before or are joining for the first time!

KidConnect - Join us on Wednesdays

An Invitation to an October Journey
Bishop Lanette asks, "How then shall we live?" On the Way to Election Day she encourages us to walk together through Connexion, Politix, Reflexion, and Praxis. Each word carries an X, an echo of the Chi (Χ) that begins Χριστoς (Christos), the Anointed One. It is a reminder that whatever else we are called in this season, we belong first to Christ.
Northfield UMC Youth Group (grades 6-12)
NUMC Youth Group includes time for fun and recreation, community building games and activities, a mini-lesson to help our young people connect to God in everyday moments, and time for supporting and celebrating each other through our highs and lows.

A Celebration of Thalia's Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 16 at the Northfield United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, prior to the service at the church.
