Adult Faith Formation - Taking Moral Action and the Political Community - Sunday, October 19 We begin a three-week series on Spirituality of the Arts. The first week will focus on personal remarks and showing of art works by St. Olaf faculty members, Michon Weeks and Anda Tanaka. Tim Goodwin will facilitate.
Creation Care Step | October 19 40% of food goes to waste in the US. On a global basis, such waste accounts for 10% of greenhouse gas emissions. Reduce waste by eating less and composting what remains. Increase vegetables and legumes over meat.

Children’s Church After the children’s message, kids pre-K through 5th grade will move to their own time and space for faith formation. We’re using Road Trip—a creative and engaging curriculum that helps children explore faith in ways that connect to their everyday lives.

Northfield UMC Youth Group (current grades 6-12) NUMC Youth Group includes time for fun and recreation, community building games and activities, a mini-lesson to help our young people connect to God in everyday moments, and time for supporting and celebrating each other through our highs and lows.
Youth Group is Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm unless otherwise noted.

October 29: Pumpkin Decorating & Party
6-6:45pm Help and participate in the Community pumpkin carving. 6:45-8pm Halloween themed games and treats, plus a “costume in a bag” contest.
Service Opportunities for Youth Wednesdays from 6:15-6:30pm: Help clear tables after the meal. 2nd Sunday of the Month: read scripture during worship or help in worship.
