Adult Faith Formation - Spirituality of Writing | Sunday, October 26

Children’s Church
​After the children’s message, kids pre-K through 5th grade will move to their own time and space for faith formation. We’re using Road Trip—a creative and engaging curriculum that helps children explore faith in ways that connect to their everyday lives.

Trunk Or Treat | October 26 - 1:30-2:30pm
​Decorate your cars, join in the fun! We welcome young and old, and young at heart - this event is open to the community. Note: in case of inclement weather we will move indoors. Sign up to register your trunk. New this year! Awards for trunk decorations, most creative, most exciting, most unusual! Set up is at 1:00pm.

​A new and simple way you can give funds to the church via your phone and a credit/debit card. NUMC's 10 digit Text to Give number is 844-946-1577. Simply text the phone number, enter the amount you want to give (minimum $3) then follow the instructions. Looking Ahead | November 2 | All Saints Sunday
​We will lift up and give thanks for those who have gone before us--people whose love and faith continues to shape our lives. We will light candles for them and lift up the quiet saints in our own lies whose light still flickers in our hearts. This will be a heart-felt service with celtic harp, organ, and bells.

Genersity & Talent Cards for 2026
​"Many hands make light work." You're prayerfully invited to consider how you might take the next step in generosity--through both service and financial giving. Please bring your generosity and talent cards to worship on Sunday, November 16, where they will be blessed or return them to the church office by that date.

Northfield UMC Youth Group (current grades 6-12) ​
NUMC Youth Group includes time for fun and recreation, community building games and activities, a mini-lesson to help our young people connect to God in everyday moments, and time for supporting and celebrating each other through our highs and lows.

Youth Group is Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm unless otherwise noted.

Valley Scare at ValleyFair​ Saturday, October 25 from 4:30-11:30pm Invite a friend and get the thrills and spooky chills at ValleyFair with rides and a haunted theme park. ​ ​Cost is $35 per youth (price depends on 15 participants) ​Chaperones needed: email youth@northfieldumc.org if you would like to help.

Creation Care Step​
Support scientifically-sound and non-partisan climate action groups like Citizen's Climate Lobby on the national level, or Fresh Energy (electrification policy) at the state level. There are many such organizations; assess them using Charity Navigator. Climate policy must be addressed since only about 25% of the necessary steps to control climate change can be completed through voluntary, individual or household actions.

Care Team Prayer List
