Adult Faith Formation - Continues This Sunday October 5
All are invited to our continuing discussion of the revised Social Principles:2025-2028 at Northfield United Methodist Church, 1401 Maple Street.On Sunday October 5, at 10:30, the adult class will focus on The Social Community, especially on "Death with Dignity". We will discuss understandings of faithful care of the dying, palliative care, euthanasia and suicide, physician-directed or assisted dying, and elements of Advance Care Planning. Guest speakers will be Dr. Gary Carlson, family physician (retired) with focus on integrative practices, and Mary Carlson, an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner (retired). Questions?

6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Shop and dine at the Brick Oven Bakery! Thanks to the Brick Oven Bakery for donating 10% of sales on Saturday, October 4th to help support one of the neediest families in the Bethlehem area of Palestine - an area of great suffering. It is recommended to pre-order online at Brick Oven Bakery’s Online Store (gluten-free options available) then pick up on Saturday, October 4th 6 am – 2 pm.
November 3-8: Meals On Wheels
Northfield United Methodist Church is responsible for delivering Meals on Wheels in November. A sign-up sheet is available on the welcome desk. Thanks to all who are willing to help with this task. Dennis and Marge Randolph, NUMC coordinators.
Children’s Church
After the children’s message, kids pre-K through 5th grade will move to their own time and space for faith formation. We’re using Road Trip—a creative and engaging curriculum that helps children explore faith in ways that connect to their everyday lives.

Northfield UMC Youth Group (current grades 6-12)
NUMC Youth Group includes time for fun and recreation, community building games and activities, a mini-lesson to help our young people connect to God in everyday moments, and time for supporting and celebrating each other through our highs and lows.
Youth Group is Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm unless otherwise noted.
October 8: Upside Down
Sometimes life feels totally mixed up. Join us for games and activities that explore how upside down moments can be used to lift up each other up and see the “holy” in the hard.
