Northfield United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time Children’s Ministries Director/Coordinator (10–15 hours/week) to help nurture the faith and community life of children in an inclusive, intergenerational congregation.
Habitat for Humanity News
Northfield UMC has agreed to join in a 2026 community project with Habitat for Humanity Rice County for the building of a duplex townhome on the corner of College and Sumner in Northfield.
Dave Wolf expects that we will need construction volunteers by mid July to help with the kind of jobs Habitat relies on volunteers to provide.
We intend to provide more information early in July about jobs and times (always on a Saturday) for NUMC construction volunteers.

We want to bless our families and make this a stress-free day of fun. The church is covering the full cost of swimming and pool admission for our church famillies. Just show up ready to dive in!
Note: Whether you're a champion swimmer, a shallow-end wader, or just want to relax poolside in a lounge chair and chat, there’s a spot for you.
No need to buy tickets in advance—just look for our church sign/table near the front entrance when you arrive so we can get everyone checked in.

Northfield UMC Youth Group (current grades 6-12)
NUMC Youth Group includes time for fun and recreation, community building games and activities, a mini-lesson to help our young people connect to God in everyday moments, and time for supporting and celebrating each other through our highs and lows.
Summer Youth Group
Youth Group will continue to meet approximately 2 times per month for outings, games, and special events. To sign-up for the Youth Group text reminder group, please text Kristen at (507) 676-3600. To be added to the youth email list, please email youth@northfieldumc.org.
NUMC Youth Group is for all youth in 6-12 grades. We meet Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8pm plus special outings and events. New youth are always welcome and encouraged to attend! For more information email youth@northfieldumc.org or text Kristen at 507-676-3600.
